The Entertainment Chief of Tamale Dakpema, Diema Naa Mohammed Hafiz is reported to have died in a fatal car accident today. He died on the spot after his vehicle summersaulted three times. Three other friends who were in the vehicle sustained severe injuries.

A close source to the Dakpema Palace in Tamale has confirmed his death. The source told WatchGhana.Com that the Chief died on the Nanton road on his return from his visit to some chiefs in the area in connection with the organization of the 2018 Damba festival.

The 2018 Damba Festival is scheduled to start on Monday 19th November, 2018 and it seems to going to be one of the biggest and memorable one in the history of Dagbon.

The source told WatchGhana.Com that the late Diema Naa who is solely in charge of the organization of the festival, has invested so much in it, with massive media campaign, production of T-shirts and many more.

But unfortunately, the Entertainment Chief did not live to see as he intended to unite the people of Dagbon through the festival.

Hafiz Diema Naa was a known peace ambassador, event organizer, movie producer and a politician.
Meanwhile, another source told WatchGhana.Com that he died “under a mysterious circumstance”.

“Am told he complained of chest pain last night and after an enskinment ceremony at his family house today, he went to the hospital for checkup and that was how it all ended,” the source told WatchGhana.Com.

The death of Diema Naa Hafiz Mohammed was preceded by the death of the Chief of Tamale, Naa Dakpema Dawuni, whose funeral is even yet to be performed.
