Family Confirms Death of Hafiz Diema Naa

The family of the Entertainment Chief of Tamale, Diema Naa Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah has officially announced his death in Tamale to the public.

This was contained in a public announcement circulated to the various radio stations in Tamale and signed by Dr. Abdulai Salifu. 

WatchGhana.Com has learnt that the death of Hafiz Diema Naa occurred at a private health facility in Tamale on 17th November, 2018, after a short ailment, contrary to the earlier report that he died in a car accident. 

“The families of Choggu Kpana Lana, Alhaji Alhassan, Bilsi Naa, Alhaji Abubakar Imoro and Dakpem Gbang-Lana wish to announce the sudden demise of their beloved son Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah (Dakpem Diema Naa) which occurred on Saturday 17th November, 2018 in Tamale”.
“All sympathisers and well-wishers should gather at Choggu Kpana Lana Yili close to the Choggu roundabout at 9:00am”. 

According to the family, the burial of the late youth activist, peace advocate and entertainment lord will take place at Zujun in Tamale. 

WatchGhana.Com learnt that the late Chief Executive Officer of Tarch House Entertainment Hafiz Diema Naa was leading the organization of the 2018 Damba Festival of the Chiefs and people of Dagbon, before his sudden death. 
The event was scheduled to take place from Monday 19th November, 2018. 

He is believed to have invested so much time, energy and resources in the festival celebration and also spent so much on media campaign and production of T-shirts, banners and many more. 
 
His demise has been described as a big blow to Dagbon and Tamale in particular due to his active involvement in every activity towards the development of the area. 

The death of Diema Naa Hafiz Mohammed was preceded by the death of the Chief of Tamale, Naa Dakpema Dawuni, whose funeral is even yet to be performed in somewhere December 2018.
