WASSCE Candidates
Results of 2,160 private candidates who wrote the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) have been withheld by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) due to alleged examination malpractices.

According to the Council, the withheld results would be released as soon as it (council) concludes its investigations.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the WAEC Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Mrs. Agnes Teye-Cudjoe after the release of provisional results of 133,986 candidates who sat for this year’s WASSCE for private candidates.

It says “Candidates may access their results online at www.waecgh.org”.
The statement cautioned members of the public to be cautious of the activities of fraudsters who take money from candidates with the promise of bettering their results.
“Members of the public are assured that the council’s results database is well secured. As such, all forged results can be detected by the confirmation or verification system.

The statement advised Institutions and organisations to confirm or verify results presented to them directly from the council or access the confirmation/verification online at the WAEC website.
