Ken Agyapong warns Ideal Finance customers to watch out…as company struggles

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has hinted that similar catastrophe confronting customers of Menzgold could befall the customers of Ideal Finance limited owned by a Member of Council of State, Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani.

He therefore warned the customers of Ideal Finance to watch out, since the company he noted, is seriously struggling.
According to Mr. Agyapong, another Savings and Loan Company owned by the former Finance Minister, Kwabena Duffuor is also in a similar situation and warned customers to be careful.

Speaking on Adom TV’s Badwam show Tuesday 8th January 2019 in reaction to a demonstration against government by some customers of Menzgold in Kumasi, the Asin Central MP said that the customers of Menzgold had no reason to blame the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for their misfortune.

He said that, the customers for reasons best known to them, had deliberately defied several warnings concerning their relationship with Menzgold.

“Those Menzgold customers should stop blaming Akufo-Addo for their misfortune. Some of us waned them several times but because of their greed they disregarded those warnings. I sympathise with them but I find it highly unfair for them to blame Nana Addo and NPP government as if we forced them to do business with Menzgold or as if they share their profits with Nana Addo”.

Mr. Kennedy Agyapong lamented that in spite of what is going on in the system, several Ghanaians are still rushing to certain fake pastors like Sika Boffour of Bohyeba TV for double money, and they are being duped every day.

He therefore urged Ghanaians to be vigilant about those so-called men of God giving out lotto numbers in exchange of money or pretending to have the power to double people’s investment.

The Asin Central MP said that Ghanaians should be grateful to the NPP, Ken Ofori Atta and President Akufo-Addo for the sanity they have brought to the financial sector, which he said had saved the investments of about 1.2 million Ghanaians.

Customers of Menzgold in Ashanti Region on Tuesday staged a demonstration attacking the Government for failing to intervene in their case.
Efforts by WatchGhana.Com to speak to the Vice President of Groupe Ideal, Charles Arkuh proved unsuccessful as he could not answer calls on his cell phone and office lines.

Recently, majority of staff of TV Africa a television station operated by Groupe Ideal were laid off in a retrenchment exercise. The Management of the station are yet to pay the necessary compensations to the sacked staff four months after their appointments were terminated.

It is believed that those embattled staff are in court to demand for their compensations.
Our information has it that, the Groupe Ideal officials are now pleading with the staff to withdraw the case for out of court settlement.
