The Vice President of the Republic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has left Ghana for London, United Kingdom to participate in the UK-Ghana Business Council meetings.
A statement issued and signed by the Director of Communications at the Office of the Vice President, Mr. Frank Agyei-Twum indicates the Vice President would deliver a lecture at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House, on the topic "Ghana's Inclusive Economic Future: Approaches to Achieving Transformative Growth",.
He will also “meet with captains of industry including officials of the London Stock Exchangeâ€.
Dr. Bawumia according to the statement would also hold discussions with senior British government officials on ways to boost UK-Ghana relations.
The Vice President who left Ghana on Friday 22nd February 2019 is expected to return to Accra on Wednesday, 27th February, 2019.
