Student Nurses ambush Nana Addo, Cries for Allowance

Student Nurses at the Ntotoroso Nurses' Training College blocked the main road from Ntotoroso-to-Kenyasi and besieged the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) chanting for allowance.

The student nurses got the hint that Nana Akufo Addo has gone to the Ntotoroso Chief's Palace and will be going to Kenyasi to address party faithful there, so they quickly blocked the road to deny Nana Addo and his entourage access amidst chanting, "We need allowa, we need allowa", meaning they need the restoration of their allowances which has been scrapped by the Mahama led NDC government.

Almost all the students have moved from their campus onto the road to besiege the NPP Presidential Candidate, calling on him to come to their aid because aside the issue of allowances, there is also an issue of postings after completing their courses.

The students were evenly shouting "Yere sesame" accompanied by the change signal to the admiration of Nana Addo and his entourage.

Some lied in the middle of the road to make sure the NPP presidential candidate had no escape route but to stop and talk to them for a while.

Nana Addo and his team had no option than to stop and assured the students of his promise to restore the Teacher Trainee and Nurses' Training allowances to help reduce the economic burdens of both students and parents.

He advised them to take their studies serious despite the current hardship and have the hope that with their support by voting massively for him, God will surely pronounce him victorious to come and safe Ghanaians from the poor state of the economy.

"Don't forget to go out and vote come December 7, because this elections is about the future of the youth, so your vote will determine your future." Nana Addo urged.

After talking to them for some few minutes, the students quickly paved way for the NPP presidential candidate to continue with his journey to Kenyasi.
