UWR/Wa MCE Hon. Tahiru accuses constituency executives of sabotage

The Wa municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru is accusing his constituency executives of sabotaging his efforts in developing the area.

He went further to state that his executives as he described as friends got distanced from him after the last constituency elections of the Governing New Patriotic and recounted how he chose the month of Ramadan to reconcile their impasse where his kind gesture was thrown at him.

Speaking to a local radio station, he gave hints that, after the failed attempt of reconciliation, his executives held several meetings without invitations to him as MCE. Per the NPP constitution the MCE insisted that as cochairman of the constituency he is always left out of meetings.

The Wa Central 2016 NPP parliamentary candidate said he doesn’t like to talk to issues on radio but an earlier interview granted the Constituency chairman triggered his response to their internal issues.

The Wa Central Constituency Chairman, Ali Kamara last week Tuesday spoke to Sungmaale FM where he made several allegations against the MCE. He accused him of not involving the constituency executives in his affairs as a government appointee of the party.

The chairman also denied his alleged campaigns for the NDC Member of Parliament, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo during the 2016 elections. He however admitted that there are scores to settle with Hon. Tahiru. He also made several other allegations on the radio interview.

 In response to the said allegations, the MCE, explained the chairman was speaking to gain public sympathy and to also insight the party against him the as MCE. 

Commenting on is recent fallouts with former constituency secretary, Hon. Bomison, the MCE said it was due to a GMC vehicle. He viewed their differences as born out of personal interests and don’t mind losing friends at any point in life.

“when you lose me as a friend because you don’t want me to be your friend, I mean you can go but, don’t give me a character and image that isn’t me” the MCE added.

To further state his position as being faultless on their impasse, the MCE mentioned several positions he held without any problems. He called on the public not to accept speculated skewed rumours of his personality.
