There were a lot to eat, drink and share as BibleHouse International Community Church in Accra organised its 2018 “Jesus’ Love Feast†for all members, their families and friends. The love feast attracted other members within the church environs, who were warmly received by the leadership of the Church and were served with equal quantity of sumptuous hot food, assorted soft drinks and desserts. Apart from the special arrangement made by the Founder, Rev. Justice Dennis Boamah and the Church leadership, other individual members also contributed different kinds of food cooked from their homes. The food and drinks were far in excess and as a result, many parents and children had the opportunity to still send a lot of food home. Indeed the true meaning of Christmas was experienced at the Jesus’ Love Feast, as they enjoyed varieties of activity to make the season a memorable one. The first 30 minutes of the event was used also to honour the Lord for His boundless love, care, protection throughout 2018 and the gift of His beloved son, Jesus Christ. There were also praises and worship, song ministrations and dance performances by the BibleHouse Praises and Worship team and the Jesus’ Children group respectively to entertain the patrons. In a short sermon on the birth of Jesus Christ, the Leader of the Women’s Ministry of the Church, Mrs. Eunice Boamah indicated that the birth of Jesus was the best thing ever happened to mankind since creation. She emphasized the need for Christians all over the world to endeavor to let the unbelievers know about the importance of the birth of Jesus Christ which she noted had brought about salvation, God’s presence, peace and love to the world. Mrs. Boamah also admonished Christians especially the youth to live consecrated lifestyle, study the word of God and rise up to propagate the gospel of Jesus to those who are not yet saved. It was all fun when the Leader of the Church, Rev. Justice Dennis Boamah himself turned into a ‘DJ’ behind the console to whet the appetite of the joyous patrons with cool local and foreign gospel music as they enjoyed their meals. The Chairman of the 2018 Jesus’ Love Feast, Mr. Frank Barwuah expressed his appreciation to the leader of the Church, Rev. Justice Dennis Boamah for his vision to put smiles on the faces of many people including the poor and widows in and outside the church every year on 25th December. He said that the introduction of the Jesus’ Love Feast was to give children, youth and adult members of BibleHouse International Community Church the opportunity to share in the joy of the birth of Jesus Christ. For Christians, the birth of Jesus is a cause for great celebration. As the Son of God, Jesus was sent to earth, by our Heavenly Father, to become a human being, live a sinless life, be crucified on a cross for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later. The purpose of this, was to save sinners from eternal death--the price to be paid for their sin.Source: www.watchghana.com/Edmond Gyebi
Wow, I'm very proud to be a member of this great family. May the good Lord continue to bless us all. Amen!
Indeed Christ love must be demonstrated through sharing in this festive season
That is the reason for the season. Jesu's love is a shared love that must be expressed practically. We need more of this in the body of Christ. Jesus is love defined and we His people must be His love expressed unto one another as a witness to the nations. Bless you
