Class Media Group throws Easter party for 600 orphans

The Class Media Group (CMG) feted over 600 orphans from six orphanages in the Greater Accra Region at the 3rd Celebrity Orphanage Easter Funfair.

 The joyous kinds converged on the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra to participate in the Funfair.

Class Media Group, owners of Accra-based Class 91.3FM, Accra100.5FM, No.1 105.3FM, Adehye FM, Kumasi FM and CTV among others every year supports orphans during the Easter festivities since it starting operations over three years ago.

The kids were drawn from the Chosen Home, Potters Village, New Life, Philadelphia, Great James and Save them Young orphanages.

The children underwent screening for Malaria and Hepatitis B and also had their Body Mass Indices (BMI) taken and those with conditions were fully treated by Greenfield Scientific Herbal Clinic. Medi Moses Diagnostics Centre also conducted oral examinations for the orphans while Newstar Ear Centre gave them ear examination and education. The orphans socialised and got entertained by some selected Ghanaian celebrities including musician Kidi, actress Lucky Lawson, Silvia Naa Morkor Commodore 2nd runner-up of Miss Universe 2018 among others. Mrs Barbara Oduro-Toku, Project Manager of Class Media Group said that the Celebrity Orphanage Easter Funfair was part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities aimed at supporting the less-privileged in society.

Some of the celebrities who were present at the funfair expressed their joy to be part of the program. Also some of the children at the various Orphanage Homes expressed their gratitude to CMG for what they did for them.
