Find murderers of late NDC Chairman; he was a father to all -NPP's Mujeeb Kelle raises concern

NPP parliamentary candidate hopeful of the DBI constituency in the Upper West Region has called on authorities to find the murderers of the NDC chairman of the constituency, Chairman Puolabong Bayiviele Richard.

In a birthday statement, Naa Mujeeb Kelle wished the immediate family and the NDC party the strength to be able to carry on with such shocking news.
He also described Chairman Puolabong as an illustrious son of the area who stood for the development of the constituency and a father for all irrespective of one's political affiliation.
The NDC chairman last Wednesday night at about 9 pm was murdered by gunmen suspected to be armed robbers.
The chairman is reported to have been returning from a funeral at Kojokperi in the his constituency.

A STATEMENT ISSUED BY NAAH ABDUL-MUJEEB KEELE(DBI NPP PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE HOPEFUL) ON THE OCCASION OF HIS BIRTHDAY
Birthdays are joyous occasions demanding celebrations. I’m thankful to Almighty Allah for guiding my foot steps and granting me another year hopeful of good health and prosperity. I also thank well wishers for the words of best wishes and prayers granted me this day of my birth. I’m grateful.
It’s however with a heavy heart that I am celebrating this birthday. As you are aware, a couple of days ago, the good people of DBI lost an illustrious son, Mr. Richard Bayiviele Puolabong (NDC Constituency Chairman) AKA Chairman Water,to the Carlos action of murderers alleged to be armed rubbers. The whole DBI Constituency and for that matter the NDC party and the late chairman’s family are in deep shock and mourning. We are deeply disturbed and in grief.
I and my team extend our deepest condolences to the people of DBI, the NDC party and more particularly the immediate family of the late Chairman. We are with you in these trying moments and pray that the Lord gives you the strength to carry on and also accept our brother into his bosom.
The late Chairman was a father to all and considered me as a younger brother and ceases not to advice me notwithstanding our different political ideologies. We in DBI saw him beyond politics. He was a patriot who took the development of his area as a priority. It’s therefore not surprising that citizens of DBI from across the divide are in shock as to the reason why such a loving person can be murdered.
On this occasion, I join all in demanding that authorities should take swift action in bringing the perpetrators of this heinous crime to book. We the people of DBI, notwithstanding our religious and political differences, are in unison calling for action to be taken to ensure that justice is granted and done so swiftly.
Bro Richard, rest in perfect peace till we meet again.
