VIDEO: Konkombas accuse SECURITY of aiding Chokosis in burning of houses in Saboba

WatchGhana.Com has intercepted a short video showcasing how houses are being burnt down in the ongoing Konkomba and Chokosi tribal conflict in Saboba and Chereponi.

The video according to information gathered by WatchGhana.Com is what a section of the Konkombas in the area are using as evidence against the security forces as those aiding the Chokosis to burn houses or over power the Jonkombas.

It looks highly cruel, inhumane and senseless how the houses were being destroyed after the occupants had evidentially run away for their own safety.

Though the video did not clearly show direct torching of any of the houses by any of the security personnel suspected by the Konkombas as the force behind the Chokosis, some soldiers were captured moving round the under inferno community.

A youth leader from the Konkomba area, Abraham Nlenkiba insisted that the security personnel could not exonerate themselves from the allegation. He said the Chokosis who go round burning those houses did that under the watch of armed security personnel.

Mr. Nlenkiba said the community being burnt down in the video is Adali, a Konkomba community, and that the voice in the video suggested that the security are behind it all: The Voice said "when we were coming they were already burning the houses and that is why Konkombas are saying we are in support; they use security to do all these things".

Efforts to speak with the Northern Regional Police PRO, Mr. Mohammed Yussif Tanko proved unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, calls are riffed for the security in the area to be beefed up.

The whole place hot nonstop because of how the deploy security is directed by the DCE. they just telling them that KONKOMBAS are attacking them meanwhile they are behind the security at every side and after they chase Konkombas then they come after which to burn their houses and take their cattle and other properties. Look this if not just and humbleness we have Chakosi properties at Gbintiri and no one touch them there. If not government interbain and warn the DCE to stop that then the conflict has no terminus time to end . Even if today is judgment day we are Konkombas are prepared to still fight unless there is a change regarding the way they are treating us. My opinion. ISSAH NINJOIN JONATHAN GURU
