UWR/Home radio to host first ever Salafest in Wa

Upper West local radio station, Home Radio is poised to host it's first ever Sala festival in the Regional capital of Wa today.

The event is set to host the finest musicians from the industry here in the region to climax the Sala celebrations by Muslims in the municipality.

This was disclosed by the manager of the station, Fostino Asprila whiles speaking on the station with MC Alaska on Sala day.

He hinted that the station is poised to venture organization of ceremonies to present the people of the region with top notch event's. He further revealed plans to organize Music Awards in the nearest time to reward musicians.

Artist billed to showcase at the maiden edition of the show this evening includes, Upper West Music Artist of the year, Wiz, Maleek, and also Typanza, Jackstill, Nashberry, Ojay, Yong Gally, Mr. WAB, Stunner, Rexcodz, Mara among other talented acts. 

Some of the artist represent at the talk show expressed readiness to impress their fans at the event today. 

Home Radio, last month set a record for hosting the biggest ever football festival in the history of the region.

The event gathered thousands of supporters to the Wa Sports Stadium to climax the day long activity. It was dubbed the Home Radio Intercommunity Gala Matches.

It saw the attendance of people of all divides of the Wa communities with endorsements from very prominent person's including the regional minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.

The Salafest would be hosted at the Wa OB station, directly opposite Home Radio. The event is expected to start at 8pm prompt.
