The Founder and Leader of Anointed Prayer and Deliverance Ministry in Ghana, Bishop Maxwell Owusu Afriyie has hinted that Nigeria has become a target for multiple deaths resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the coming days.
The Bishop has therefore alerted all Churches and Pastors across Africa to rise up and pray fervently against any such uncontrolled deaths about to be unleashed on Nigeria and its citizens by the controlling force of the Coronavirus.
In an 8.30-minute audio sent to this reporter from Sekyere Mountain in Ashanti Region where he has encamped himself with some other pastors to pray, Bishop Maxwell Afriyie, said Nigeria in the next few weeks will likely record double digit figures in the number of COVID-19 deaths in a day at the very time the entire nation is expecting to see rather a drop in the death toll.
He however disclosed that from what he saw in the vision, the figures that will be recorded in Nigeria will not be anywhere near that of Italy, USA, Spain and other hard-hit nations, but will surpass other countries in Africa.
Bishop Maxwell Owusu Afriyie said he is mostly not comfortable releasing terrifying or ruinous revelations but said that, once God had revealed and offered solution through prayers-he had no business keeping this information.
“Intercessory prayer is the only way out for Nigeria to stop the looming catastrophe from wrecking the nation. I am here on this mountain fasting and praying for Ghana and the world, and will continue to support Nigeria in prayers. This is what has been revealed and I must let the people of Nigeria themselves know so that they can pray against it”.
The Vision
“I saw in a revelation that a demonic coffin has been released and was travelling with a very high speed in the sky; and moving from country to country. When it reached Nigeria, the coffin stopped in the sky. And suddenly I saw a long red bus fully loaded with dead bodies in coffins also following wherever the coffin in the sky is moving to. So, both of them settled in Nigeria. And I heard that tell my people in Nigeria to pray and drive this evil away”.
Audio of Bishop Afriyie
Bishop Maxwell Afriyie warned “it is something the devil has planned to do and it’s very much advanced. The only weapon to destroy that evil coffin is prayer. This is not a joke. Nigeria must take this seriously and pray against any coming disaster”.
Meanwhile, Nigeria has recorded over 230 COVID-19 confirmed cases with 5 deaths and 33 people recovered as at Sunday April 2, 2020 according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Since appearing in Wuhan, China, last December, the novel coronavirus has spread to at least 183 countries and regions, according to figures compiled by the U.S.-based Johns Hopkins University.
The data shows more than 1.27 million cases have been reported worldwide so far, with the global death toll nearing 70,000, and over 264,000 recoveries.
Bishop Maxwell Owusu Afriyie also urged other African countries to soak themselves in prayers, since no one knows the next country that evil coffin hanging in the skies would want to unleash such disaster on.
He added that “I have seen so many revelations about the COVID-19. Even though most people believe it is something invented by some Chinese, I can simply say it has a spiritual source from the marine world. And its mode of spreading is through certain spiritual insects that appears like mosquitoes and biting people. I have also seen that the COVID-19 is spread through a heavy thick smoke like tear gas released into the atmosphere and as people inhale without any protection they get infested. But I can say that the work of Coronavirus is coming to an end very soon but it still wants to cause surprises before it finally leaves”.
He therefore encouraged people to give their lives to Christ Jesus whiles they follow the physical protective measures of covering their noses, using hand sanitizers, washing their hands with soap under running water, observing social distancing and other protocols.
