The Executive Director of the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation, Dr. Otiko Afisah Djaba has lauded Muslims across Ghana for the huge sacrifice made throughout the month-long fasting and prayers.
According to the Former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, it takes a lot of self-discipline, self-denial, commitment and the fear of God to undergo such a successful spiritual cleansing and sanctification.
In a statement issued in Accra, Dr. Otiko Djaba wished the Muslim brothers and sisters a happy and blessed Eid-Al-Fitr and requested God to open the heavens and bless them accordingly.
The Executive Director of the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation encouraged the Muslims not to relent on their spiritual warfare against the spread of the deadly Coronavirus until victory is achieved.
Dr. Otiko Djaba further encouraged them to faithfully remember the less privileged in society especially Persons with Disability as they celebrate the Eid-Al-Fitr.
She was optimistic that Ghana and its economy would bounce back strongly from the forces and shackles of the Coronavirus.
