The Assembly Member for Atiemo Nkwanta Electoral Area in the Asante Akyem South Constituency, Hon. Prince Adu has charged members of the NPP especially the youth to actively get involved in the campaign activities.
According to him, posterity would not forgive them if they out of complacency allow the NDC to win back power in the December 7 general elections.
Hon. Prince Adu popularly known as the "youngest assemblyman" made the call when he led some youth of the party in a door-to-door campaign at Banso and its surroundings.
He noted that the NPP government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Lawyer Kwaku Asante Boateng have delivered on their mandate and deserved four more years.
Hon. Prince Adu expressed the need for the youth to join Lawyer Asante Boateng campaign team to comprehensively articulate or explain the achievements of the party to the electorate.
"This constituency is our stronghold but we cannot be complacent. We all have to help the constituency executives and our incumbent MP to retain power".
He mentioned the free SHS, planting for food and jobs, one district one factory, educational, health and road infrastructure as some of the visible achievements of NPP and urged the members to go all out to spread the good news.
The Assembly Member was confident that the government through the MP and the Asante Akyem South Municipal Chief Executive, Alexander Frimpong would be able to do more for the people if given another term in office.
The Asante Akyem South Constituency parliamentary seat has been occupied by the NPP 1992 and still remains one of the strongholds of party.
