Ensuring Peaceful Election: Leader of BibleHouse Leads Congregation To Pray For Ghana

The Founder and General Overseer of the BibleHouse International Community Church, Apostle Dennis Justice-Boamah on Sunday 6th December, 2020 led his congregation to pray fervently for the peaceful outcome of Ghana’s presidential and parliamentary elections.

Ghana is expected to conduct its general elections on Monday 7th December, 2020 to elect a new president and 275 members of parliament. As a result, 11 political parties and one independent presidential candidates have joined the race to win the mandate of the Ghanaian people.

This has resulted into immense tension, accusations, counter accusations, allegations and series of confrontations among the political parties/candidates especially between the two leading parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by the incumbent President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the opposition leader/former President John Dramani Mahama respectively.

According to Apostle Justice-Boamah, Christians all over Ghana had a responsibility to go on their knees to intercede for the peace of God to prevail on the nation. He complained that the 2020 electioneering period had seen so much rituals, secret killings and bloodshed as sacrifice for power by some blood tasty politicians.

He therefore encouraged the churches in Ghana and Africa to continue to pray for Ghana. He also led his church to pray for wisdom, understanding, fear of God and high sense of patriotism for all the stakeholders in Ghana’s elections most especially the Electoral Commission, the Media, Political Parties and the Security Agencies to play their roles responsibly.

Apostle Justice-Boamah stood on his holy altar to pronounce blessings on individuals, groups, state institutions and political parties that would respect the will of God and play according to the rules of the election for peaceful and transparent outcome.

He equally released serious curses on those who would attempt to manipulate the outcome of the election, device evil strategies to cause needless tension and violence during and after the polls.

The BibleHouse leader also prayed for calm and peaceful atmosphere throughout the election period on Monday.

Apostle Justice-Boamah advised his congregation to go all out and cast their votes peacefully and also ensure they adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols.
