The Kings Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, in the Sunyani Industrial Estate District, has successfully climaxed its 10th anniversary celebration with a special thanksgiving service amidst spirit-filled worship, reflection, and exhortation.
The well-attended event brought together church members, district leaders, past ministers, and invited guests from across the region to celebrate a decade of God’s faithfulness, growth, and impact.
Delivering the sermon at the climax service, the District Pastor, Pastor Dennis Sasu, encouraged members to uphold a life of holiness and unconditional love, which he described as the foundation of true Christian living.
“We have come this far by the grace of God, and it is important that we do not only celebrate, but rededicate ourselves to the calling of Christ,” Pastor Sasu stated. “I urge every member to pursue holiness and demonstrate Christ-like love in all their dealings, both within the church and in the wider community.”
The thanksgiving service featured vibrant praises, heartfelt testimonies of transformation, and a historical account of the assembly's growth since its establishment. Church leaders paid tribute to the founding members and past ministers whose dedication laid a strong spiritual and structural foundation.
The anniversary celebration, which began months earlier with various activities including evangelism outreaches, health screening, and youth mentorship programs, highlighted the Kings Assembly’s commitment to both spiritual and community development.
In his closing remarks, Elder Agyeman Debrah, Presiding Elder of Kings Assembly, expressed gratitude to God and to all who have supported the assembly's journey over the past decade. “We give God all the glory for how far He has brought us. This celebration is a testament to His faithfulness, and we are excited for what lies ahead.”
The event ended with a symbolic cutting of the anniversary cake, joyful dancing, and fellowship among congregants, signifying a renewed commitment to the church’s mission and the Kingdom of God.
