The Global Media Foundation (GLOMEF) has expressed deep sorrow following the tragic military helicopter crash that occurred earlier today, claiming the lives of two Ministers of State and six others.
In an official statement signed by Mr. Raphael Godlove Ahenu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GLOMEF, the organization conveyed its condolences to the Government of Ghana, the bereaved families, and the Ghana Armed Forces.
“On behalf of the Board, management, staff, and partners of Global Media Foundation LBG, we extend our deepest condolences during this time of national grief,” Mr. Ahenu stated.
The incident, described as a “profound shock and sorrow” by the organization, is one of the most significant national tragedies in recent times, involving high-ranking officials and brave personnel who were serving their country.
“This is an immense loss not only to the government but to the entire nation. The sudden demise of these dedicated public servants and brave personnel is a painful reminder of the sacrifices made in the service of country and duty,” the statement noted.GLOMEF called on Ghanaians to unite in solidarity, compassion, and support for the affected families and national leadership, while offering prayers for strength, comfort, and peace for all those impacted by the incident.
“We stand in solidarity with the families and loved ones of the deceased, praying for strength, comfort, and peace during this heartbreaking time. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace,” Mr. Ahenu concluded.The organization urged all citizens to reflect on the values of service, patriotism, and unity as the nation mourns this heartbreaking loss.
