ERIC AMOFA JNR, CEO OF EKAJ EDUCATIONAL FUND CONSOLES FAMILIES OF HELICOPTER CRASH VICTIMS, CALLS FOR NATIONAL UNITY IN GRIEF

With a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by sorrow, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the families of the brave men who tragically lost their lives in the helicopter crash on 6th August 2025, in the Adansi Akrofuom District, Ashanti Region.

To the wives who have lost their life partners and to the children whose fathers will never return home — my heart grieves with you. No words can ease the depth of your pain, and no comfort can fully fill the void their absence has left behind. I pray that the Lord Almighty will wrap you in His loving arms, dry your tears, and grant you strength and peace in this time of unbearable loss.
May He receive the souls of the departed into His eternal rest.

And to the government and the people of Ghana, this is more than a tragedy; it is a national heartbreak. We have lost not just lives — but heroes, fathers, brothers, and patriots who served our beloved Ghana with courage and honour. The grief extends far beyond the crash site — it lives in every Ghanaian heart that values sacrifice, duty, and love for country.

May this tragedy unite us in compassion, and may the legacy of these fallen heroes inspire us to live with love, sacrifice, and purpose.

Also, to the sixteen precious young boys and girls of Obogu Saviour Church whose lives were also taken so tragically — our hearts ache for you. You were full of promise, full of light, and full of dreams.
We love you deeply, and we pray that our gracious Lord will rest your beautiful souls in perfect peace.

In just eight days, Ghana has lost 24 irreplaceable souls.
We mourn as a nation.
We pray as one people.
And we remember them — not with despair, but with eternal honour.

May all your souls rest in perfect peace.
